CANCUN

30 years ago, Cancun was a very small town basically unknown, with only 117 people. CLOTHING :Casual and seasonal attire are the dress codes in Cancún. Coat and tie are not required unless you would like to go to some of the most fancy restaurants, they may require semiformal attire. Beach clothing should not be used in town.

CURRENCY:The peso is the official national currency in México, however, American dollars are accepted in most of the stores and restaurants. American dollars can be exchanged at banks and hotels at the daily conversion rate.

BEACH:All beaches in México are public. It is important to pay attention to the flags you will see within the beach area, red and black mean you cannot swim, while green and yellow indicate you are allowed to swim.

CUSTOMS:Customs regulations allow citizens of the United States to import $400.00 USD worth of merchandise and 2 liters of liquor duty free. The Government of the United States will tax any additional purchase. The customs forms are provided by the airlines that fly to the United States, If you are not a United States citizen, please check the regulations with OUR REPRESENTATIVES

PURIFIED WATER:Cancun City, as well as the hotel zone have a special water purification system. In addition, each hotel has its own water purification plant, therefore, water from your tap is safe to drink in your hotel. If you prefer, bottled water is available everywhere.

TRANSPORTATION:Transportation will be provided by Grupo Intermar, they will receive the passengers at the airport and take them to their hotel. For departures, passengers will be picked 3 hours prior to flight.
