Heading out to the East from Mexico City, we will have the opportunity to see the volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl. Then we will continue our trip to the small village of Cholula where we will visit the church of our Lady of the Remedies, which is located on top of the largest pyramid of the world. Then we will go to Santa María Tonanzintla to see the town’s church and its exquisite popular art. Once in Puebla, we will visit the Cathedral, the chapel of the Lady of the Rosary that during its time was considered “the eighth wonder of the world.” And we will walk around the French and colonial type of streets.
